DAK Collectibles A division of DAK Industrial

What we do to your design, in six controlled stages.

Every collectible we produce moves through six stages, under one roof, in a facility that is wholly ours. Each stage exists to protect one thing: that piece number 500 matches the prototype you approved.

Our process imagery is intentionally obscured.

We do not publish our production areas, our tooling, or any project before it launches. Photography is not permitted inside our production areas, for visitors and clients alike. Every process photograph on this site has been deliberately obscured. Not for effect. It is the same discipline that protects your unreleased designs.

You will see how we work. You will not see for whom, or what.

01

Tooling & Mould Making

Production tooling cut from your approved data. Whatever the tool does, every piece after it does too.

Casting & Moulding

Polystone and polyresin, cast with controlled wall thickness, controlled shrinkage and controlled weight.

03

Batch Painting

The hardest stage in production. Colour standards, spray jigs and masking sequences hold a hand-finished look across the whole run.

04

Assembly & Numbering

Components become one piece, then it receives its edition number. That number is a promise about how many exist.

Collector-Grade Packaging

Two jobs: arrive intact, and open the way a collector expects.

Consistency & QC

Every batch compared against the approved prototype, item by item. This is where the promise is kept or broken.

The six stages, and what each one is protecting.

  • 01Tooling & Mould Making

Moulds are cut from the approved data, not from a photograph or a hand measurement. Whatever the tool does, every piece after it does too, which is why the parting lines, draught and dimensions are signed off before a single production casting is made.

  • 02Casting & Moulding

Polystone and polyresin, cast to a controlled wall thickness so that weight, shrinkage and the way the piece sits on its base stay inside the tolerance the edition was designed around.

  • 03Batch Painting

The hardest stage. A gradient that was airbrushed until it looked right is a judgement, not a specification, so it is converted into a colour standard, a spray jig and a masking sequence that a team can repeat across the whole run.

  • 04Assembly & Numbering

Seams are finished before the final paint, bases are fitted and levelled, and the edition number is issued in sequence and reconciled against the quantity produced.

  • 05Collector-Grade Packaging

Packaging has two jobs: get the piece to its destination undamaged, and open the way a collector expects. Art box, window box or foam insert, engineered for the shelf or for direct despatch.

  • 06Consistency & QC

A 30-person quality team compares every batch against the approved prototype rather than against the previous batch, so small differences cannot compound quietly through the run.

In a facility we own.

62,000 m² of group manufacturing capacity across Huizhou and Huiyang. Around 20,000 m² of it, roughly a third, is dedicated to collectible production at our Huicheng facility.

Not contracted out. Not brokered. Ours.
